PNM Cashbook is designed primarily to provide ease of use functionality with outputs that satisfy accounting and GST compliance. There is only one transaction entry form to process both payments and income. Display of allocation accounts is limited to activities satisfied by payment or income, with the more complicated activities hidden from the user but available to the accountant.

Transaction entry allows multiple rows for allocation within the one transaction. Each allocation will, where necessary, require a response to simple questionnaires to determine the proper allocation for GST. Reconciliation is a simple process to check bank statement transaction records against cashbook transactions to ensure completeness.

Non bank sources of cash activity (eg petty cash) are treated in the same manner as bank accounts. When ready the processed data can be emailed to the accountant. BAS reporting can be processed by the business or can be passed to the accountant.
